Quanta Garage ("we", "us", or "our") operates the FindKeeper: Smart Device Alert mobile application (the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and your choices regarding your information.

This policy applies to information collected through the App and any services provided by us via the App. It does not apply to information collected by third-party services or websites that may be linked within the App.

We minimize data collection and design our features to work locally on your device whenever possible. Types of information we may collect include:
Device Data: Device model, operating system version, app version, and limited non-identifying diagnostic information used to improve the App.
Bluetooth & Connection Data: Information about paired or nearby Bluetooth devices (such as device name, type, and last connection timestamp) solely for the purpose of providing accessory-finding and disconnect alerts. We do not collect precise GPS location from Bluetooth devices.
User Content: Checklist items, custom labels, and other content you create in the App ("User Content"). This content is stored on your device and, if you use any backup or sync features provided by the platform (e.g., iCloud), it may be stored according to that platform's policies.
In-App Purchase & Subscription Data: Purchase receipts and basic transaction details necessary to manage subscriptions and purchases. Billing is handled by the platform (e.g., Apple App Store).
Analytics and Crash Reports: Aggregated usage statistics and crash logs to help us improve the App. These are anonymized and do not include personal data unless you explicitly opt in.
4. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain the App's core features (e.g., sound-trigger finding, Bluetooth accessory find, stillness detection, checklist reminders).
To process purchases and manage subscriptions.
To analyze usage patterns and improve features, performance, and reliability.
To send you important notices and support-related communications.
To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
5. Data Storage and Retention
Where possible, data is stored locally on your device. We retain User Content and device-related data only as long as necessary to provide the App and services. If you delete your account (if applicable) or uninstall the App, local data will be removed from your device, though backups made by the platform (e.g., iCloud) may persist according to that platform's settings.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
With service providers who perform functions on our behalf (e.g., analytics providers, crash-reporting services) under contractual obligations to protect the data.
To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests by public authorities.
To protect and defend our rights or property, or the safety of our users.
In connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
7. Your Choices
You have choices about how your information is collected and used:
Permissions: You may choose whether to grant Bluetooth, microphone, and notification permissions. Certain features (e.g., Clap Finder, Whistle Finder, Snap Finder) rely on microphone access for local detection. Denying permissions may limit functionality.
Analytics Opt-Out: You can opt out of analytics and crash reporting where provided in the App settings.
Delete Data: You may delete User Content within the App. If you uninstall the App, local data will be removed from your device.
8. Children
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.
9. Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect information within our control. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Third-Party Services
The App may include links to third-party services, SDKs, or libraries (for example, analytics or advertising SDKs). These third parties have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies before using their services. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
11. International Transfers
Information we collect may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of information to the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.
